Corrections Policy
We want everything on Insurance Simplified USA to be accurate. Insurance rules and figures change, and we sometimes make mistakes — here’s how we handle it when that happens.
How to Report an Error
If you spot outdated, incorrect, or unclear information — a state requirement that’s changed, a broken source link, a calculator that seems off — please tell us through our Contact page. Include the page URL and a brief description of the issue; the more specific, the faster we can verify and fix it.
What Happens Next
We review reported issues against our listed sources (or, where necessary, look up the current authoritative source) and update the page if the report is confirmed. Substantive corrections update the page’s “Last updated” date so it’s clear the content has changed since you may have last read it.
Minor vs. Substantive Corrections
Minor corrections (typos, formatting, broken links) are fixed without special notice. Substantive corrections — ones that change a figure, requirement, or recommendation — update the “Last updated” date on the affected page.
